BC Children’s Hospital & the University of British Columbia, Department of Pediatrics are seeking a Clinician Specialist to provide clinical and academic services.

The Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at BCCH has a successful history of family-centered care, leadership in education, and a growing quality improvement program. We provide individualized career development through personalized mentoring and opportunities for additional skill development in quality improvement, education, leadership and research.

This position is for coverage of Inpatient Pediatrics, which would include covering Clinical Teaching Unit (CTU), as well other clinical areas including consultation services to surgical and non-surgical patients, and service on surge units (blue team). In addition to a demonstration of a strong commitment to academic hospital-based General Pediatrics, applicants will also have a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada specialty and/or sub-specialty credentials and eligibility for registration in the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.

We are looking for a pediatrician to join our office 2-4 days per month in New Westminster. Centrally located. We have a broad range of consults available as Drs. Sorokan and Chow have been in practice at this office for many years. Low overhead and parking in the Royal City Mall is convenient for us and our patients. Are you interested in building an office-based pediatrics practice in Squamish, BC? Come join our team at Squamish Pediatrics! Our goal is to provide accessible and family-centered medical and developmental care for children and teenagers in the Sea to Sky Corridor. We are lucky to closely collaborate with allied health, primary care and school team members to provide team-based care for complex patients.  To meet the demand for pediatric care in our rapidly-growing community, we are currently recruiting one or two general pediatricians to each provide 2-3 outpatient clinics per week. As we recruit more pediatricians and increase our capacity, our future goals include expanding our practice to provide outreach clinics, hospital support at Squamish General Hospital and clinics at the newly-opened Foundry to improve mental health care.
