Program Announced

Mark your calendar for this year’s Children’s Health Today Conference on November 8 and 9, 2024 at UBC Robson Square in downtown Vancouver!

You’ll want to attend this upcoming conference which is presented through a partnership between BC Pediatric Society and the BC Children’s Hospital.

Every year the BC Pediatric Society partners with a different specialty from BC Children’s Hospital. This year, we are thrilled to be working with the Division of Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplantation.

Day 1, Friday, November 8, will cover presentations on a variety of subjects at the forefront of every pediatrician’s mind. From AI medicine, borderline personality disorder/suicidal patients, and PICU on the go to a dermatology update and pediatric general surgery for the pediatrician, we will have eight presentations that have been hand-picked as the top issues affecting today’s youth.

Day 2, Saturday, November 9, will focus on hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplantation. From a keynote on hereditary cancer disposition in pediatric patients, common hemolytic anemias, and management of pediatric ITP to management of severe and/or refractory iron deficiency anemia and coping and wellness for providers when caring for dying patients, there will be eight presentations from specialists wanting to share their expert knowledge with you.

Please check out the preliminary program to learn more about the sessions and speaker. The  preliminary program is updated as new details become available.
